Mission, Vision & Values
A bilingual Christian family on mission in Katy, Texas.
Mission
Our mission is to help people and families grow in faith, be transformed by the gospel, discover their purpose in Jesus Christ, and become mature disciples who serve, lead, and form others. To fulfill this mission, we equip and train the next generation through discipleship processes, ministry-training workshops, and family, pastoral, and business mentoring programs. We strengthen men to be spiritual leaders and steadfast mentors in their homes, the church, and the community; we activate the potential of women to develop their gifts and fulfill their strategic calling within the vision; we empower young people to take up their responsibility in the Great Commission and serve actively; and we equip business owners and professionals to lead with integrity, Reformed Christian ethics, and a biblical vision of service, freedom, and responsibility in the marketplace. We work to establish a high-impact children's ministry that reaches and forms the children of our community, to plant new congregations and satellite churches in different cities across the United States, and to consolidate a multicultural missionary base that forms and sends disciples to serve locally and among the nations. We mobilize every ministry and department of the church to serve with excellence, unity, and commitment, understanding that each person has a place and a function within the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the center of all we are and do. We believe big and advance step by step. We are servants, not consumers. We do not maintain, we multiply. We want to be known for who we are in Christ. We are grateful, and we acknowledge that all glory belongs to God alone.
Vision
Our vision is to be a Christian, bilingual, and multiplying community that makes the grace and truth of Jesus Christ visible in Katy, Houston, and the nations, forming mature disciples, strengthening families, and developing leaders. We believe God has called Carismah Church to become a church of more than five thousand believers, established not to magnify a name but to serve as a platform for ministries and missions in service of the expansion of God's Kingdom. We see a church that equips and empowers the next generation, forming disciples with biblical conviction, firm character, and a clear vision of their calling, in order to send and strategically deploy them wherever the Lord leads. We see new congregations and satellite churches established in different cities of the United States, reproducing a Christ-centered culture committed to service and oriented toward multiplication. We see men exercising responsible spiritual leadership in their families, the church, and the community, becoming mentors of others; women developing their gifts and fulfilling their strategic calling within the vision; young people taking up their responsibility in the Great Commission and serving actively; and business owners and professionals leading with integrity, Reformed Christian ethics, and a biblical vision of service, freedom, and responsibility in the marketplace. We believe God will lead us to a significantly larger location, prepared to receive a harvest that will exceed our current capacity, and that we will have a strong, high-impact children's ministry that reaches and forms the children of our community, sowing in them identity, truth, faith, and purpose from their earliest years. We also see a consolidated multicultural missionary base from which disciples are formed and sent to serve locally and among the nations.
Values
This is how we live our faith
Jesus Christ is at the center
Everything we are and do flows from Jesus Christ and points back to Him.
We believe big and begin step by step
We dream God-sized dreams and pursue them with faithful, practical first steps.
We are servants, not consumers
We come to give, to build, and to bless—not merely to receive.
We do not maintain, we multiply
We make disciples who make disciples, leaders who raise leaders.
We want to be known for who we are in Jesus Christ
Our identity and reputation are rooted in Christ, not in ourselves.
We are grateful
Gratitude to God shapes our worship, our giving, and our service.
All glory belongs to God
We seek His renown above our own in all things.
“So let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16
